Witt 3 chandelier, matte black
Witt is a modular, geometric take on the traditional chandelier. Two glowing, pearl-like luminaires are framed by the graphic outlines of five hollow brass cubes, which, like building blocks, allow for endless compositions: They can be hung in a linear procession, both horizontally and vertically; as a cluster; or at staggered heights. The sets of five can also be combined to a customized scale. The ultra-slim suspension cables are near invisible, leaving the focus on the composition.

Inspired by the late Sol Lewitt’s sculptural explorations of simple grids, Witt takes on a graphic, starkly geometric form, complemented by the soft contours of pearl-like glass bulbs. In collaboration with our friends at Rockwell Group, we’ve reinterpreted the artist’s visual language in five new compositions of our own.

Together, the two firms reinterpreted basic geometric forms as minimalist sculpture, using solid, luxury materials to transform the circle and the square into expressions of poetic simplicity. The result of a long collaborative relationship creating customized luminaires for a diverse range of our projects. Rockwell Group and RBW have taken pure geometric forms like spheres and cubes and softened them with poetic simplicity. Through variations in configuration and light, the three minimalist suspension and wall-mounted fixtures solve for a number of needs.
