Topo’s elegant construction is both minimal and inviting, seamlessly joining an elliptical glass bulb to the unique visual textures of our circular backplate. Offered in a selection of rich earth tones ranging from Clay to Basalt, the backplate radiates with warmth as the light illuminates the organic patterns on its surface.
Exuding both elegance and warmth, the Topo sconce joins the simplicity of an elliptical glass globe with the organic texture of an innovative new material.
Introducing Topo, a new sconce collection of sleek outlines and subtle textures.
Five distinct color options and two sizes make Topo a versatile addition to a range of projects, with added dimming capabilities and leading energy efficiency. Each backplate presents its own unique pattern, ideal for installation on its own or as part of a group composition.

As a unique addition to the lighting market, Topo is the first of its kind to feature an innovative composite material combining the strength and durability of cement with the flexibility of FSC- and PEFC-certified wood. The material evokes the familiar patterns and textures of terrazzo with an added organic warmth, while meeting the requirements to support the latest LEED certification.

On March 30, the RBW leadership team gathered with tastemakers in the New York design community for an evening of cocktails and a private dinner. It was a privilege to host this event at our 85F Tribeca Showroom. The night centered around a shared table and a seasonal menu prepared by Chef Arley Marks. One course was created in partnership with the Kingston YMCA Farm Project, an urban farm that supports youth through food education, environmental stewardship, and community engagement. The evening reflected a shared commitment to care, craft, and connection. A moment shaped by good food, thoughtful conversation, and the people who continue to make this community what it is. Thank you to everyone who joined us.

We had a great time hosting an event with ALC to celebrate the Year of the Horse at our 85F Tribeca Showroom. It was a great evening of connection, culture, and community, with festive energy and meaningful conversations with peers across the lighting and design community. Thank you to everyone who joined us! Adding new stories of gathering and celebration to this space is part of why we built this new home for design and collaboration at 85 Franklin. It was such a privilege to host this Lunar New Year, with many more experiences planned for 2026. Stop by and see how we use the power of light to create atmosphere today.
