Dram

Have a Dram! Dram carries a clear silhouette and a bold sense of scale, offered in three intoxicating sizes. Building on the legacy of the iconic simple shaded Hoist collection, Dram expands the concept with dual finishes that highlight the meeting of color. Designed entirely by the RBW team, from concept to final form.

Dram, available in Small, Medium & Large, strike the perfect balance.

Expression through Color

Dram’s dual-finish design offers nearly-limitless opportunities to explore color, harmony and contrast. Each shade pairs an inner finish and outer finish that can be designed independently, encouraging creative combinations that range from subtle to statement-making. At launch, the collection debuts with several unique pairings including Penny Vein, a copper-toned, textured outer finish that adds warmth and material richness. These surfaces of Dram invite designs with depth, rhythm, and personality.

Balanced Presence

Each of Dram's three sizes shares the same calm center, where proportion, shape, and finish find balance. The pendant’s refined geometry gives it an understated confidence, offering an easy way to introduce color and form without excess. Dram is an inviting, versatile fixture that complements both quiet spaces and bold compositions.

Trimless Mud-in Canopy

We’re now offering our mud-in canopy option for Dram, designed for seamless integration with drywall ceilings. Designed and engineered by RBW, the minimalist trim creates a clean, continuous surface that lets the fixture appear to emerge directly from the architecture, ideal for projects that demand a refined, built-in look. Available across all sizes for Dram, our mud-in canopy makes it easier than ever to achieve a polished, architectural presentation without compromising performance or access.

Shop Talk with Neil Logan & Roseanna Smith Vol. 13

Neil Logan brought clarity to 85 Franklin: keep what works, highlight the charm, don’t mess it up. Our collaboration with him has grown from Industry City to Kingston, and this project felt like the natural next step. Alongside Neil, project manager Roseanna Smith helped shape the vision and strategy, guiding the space to tell RBW’s story of evolution and what comes next. We caught up with Neil to talk about the design approach behind 85 Franklin, the art of doing less, and how to show off lighting without trying too hard.
