Pomme takes its shape from a softened geometry, rounded and settled. The form carries a gentle fullness that feels welcoming in a space. Its character comes from how the surface meets the light, creating depth that shifts slowly across the curve. Each size holds this feeling with clarity, offering presence that feels natural and steady. Designed in house at RBW, Pomme reflects careful study of shape, proportion, and tone. A fixture that brings warmth and structure, shaping the room in a way that feels lived-in and intentional.
The opal glass casts a soft, even glow that moves through the room with ease. The light travels outward in a steady gradient, settling into corners and drawing the space together. It creates an atmosphere that feels open and balanced, clear enough to see by and calm enough to live within.
We’re now offering our mud-in canopy option for Pomme, designed for seamless integration with drywall ceilings. Designed and engineered by RBW, the minimalist trim creates a clean, continuous surface that lets the fixture appear to emerge directly from the architecture, ideal for projects that demand a refined, built-in look. Available across all sizes for Pomme, our mud-in canopy makes it easier than ever to achieve a polished, architectural presentation without compromising performance or access.

The end of the year is a time to reflect on a year of growth, collaboration, and hard work. This year we met at Eng’s in Kingston. The rare opportunity to sit together and take stock. We looked around the table and saw the team behind the work. RBW exists because these people care deeply about what they make and who they make it with. We believe in the power of light to create atmosphere — and this is the team behind it — and this is the team that brings that vision to life.

Neil Logan brought clarity to 85 Franklin: keep what works, highlight the charm, don’t mess it up. Our collaboration with him has grown from Industry City to Kingston, and this project felt like the natural next step. Alongside Neil, project manager Roseanna Smith helped shape the vision and strategy, guiding the space to tell RBW’s story of evolution and what comes next. We caught up with Neil to talk about the design approach behind 85 Franklin, the art of doing less, and how to show off lighting without trying too hard.

From Kingston to Tribeca, last week moved through every layer of what we do. Day One began on the factory floor, where materials meet process. Day Two ended at 85F, where those ideas take shape in space and light. Thank you to everyone who joined us!
