Dedicated to the built environment and to the empowerment, advancement, and visibility of the women who work in it, Julia has published to date over 300 interviews with women who advance the practice of architecture. Trained as an architect herself, Julia stays grounded in professional practice as an Associate Principal and Business Development Director at Ennead Architects, where she focuses on the educational, cultural, and healthcare markets. Her speaking engagements include lectures at Harvard, Columbia, Yale, UPenn, Pratt, and Georgia Tech, and she has been a guest critic for design reviews at Cornell AAP, Columbia GSAPP, and the School of Visual Arts.

Dan Rubinstein is a writer, editor, and consultant based in New York specializing in design, interiors, architecture, art, and culture. With more than 20 years of experience in media, he has contributed to a variety of publications, such as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Air Mail, T Magazine, Architectural Digest, Town & Country, Galerie, PIN-UP, and L’Officiel. His first book “This Is Not a House” was published by Rizzoli in 2015. Rubinstein was a former editor in the interiors department of Condé Nast’s House & Garden (2003–2006). He has also served as a guest critic and lecturer at design schools such as Parsons, Syracuse University, and the Rhode Island School of Design.

Elizabeth Graziolo, AIA, is the award-winning founder and principal of Yellow House Architects based in New York City and Miami, a collaborative-minded practice specializing in residential and commercial work. Preceding YHA, she was a partner at Peter Pennoyer Architects for over 15 years, directing projects ranging from private homes to multi-tenant developments in the United States and abroad. Elizabeth is a trustee of The Museum of the City of New York and The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science & Art and serves on the Delano & Aldrich/Emerson Fellowship Committee of the American Institute of Architects. Elizabeth is also an active mentor and champion for young women entering the architecture profession, participating as a presenter and resource in programs that help inspire and support the next generation of women architects.

Nina is the founding principal of Studio Cooke John Architecture and Design, a multidisciplinary design studio that values placemaking as a way to transform relationships between people and the built environment. Her work has also been featured in Architectural Record, Madame Architect, The New York Times, Dwell, NBC’s Open House, the Center for Architecture’s 2018 exhibition, Close to the Edge: The Birth of Hip-Hop Architecture and PBS NewsHour Weekend. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, Nina earned her Bachelor of Architecture degree from Cornell University and MSAAD from Columbia University. She has been a design educator for 20 years teaching at NYIT, Syracuse University, Parsons School of Design and currently at the Columbia Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation.

With a passion for materiality, process, and form, Venezuela-born Mayela Mujica brings years of design training and experience to her work as Innovation Manager at RBW where she oversees the strategy for internal and external innovation ecosystems. Mayela received her Bachelor in Industrial Design from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign
and Masters in Furniture Design from Rhode Island School of Design where she also taught. Her work has been shown at the Triennale Design Museum, ICFF, and the Cruz Diez Museum among others, in addition to appearing in publications like Metropolis and Architectural Digest.
